Today 5-15-2011 Mona will be presenting some history on the subject of the Victorian Era of Jewelry with lots of pictures...timelines...and a springboard for an educated attempt at creating Victorian Inspired Jewelry! Join us for a presentation of history through pictures of this expansive history of jewelry design!
My name is Mona Hair! For a day job, I work as a registered nurse for a cardiovascular surgery unit!
At all other times I am a multi-media free lance jewelry designer residing in Bellaire, Texas!
I am a self taught designer with a history of working in hot glass (lampworking), and polymer clay most recently. I have a wide ranging experience base in French, Russian, and Venetian beaded floral work. Gemstones, pearls, crystals, and original components of peer artisans find their way into my work as well! Because my work is so varied in content, I have created a blog to help chronicle stages of experimentation to share with others!
I have an image events site at the moment where most of my work is on display with some tutorials to share. As I develop this blog, some of those tutorials ect...may move to this site. You may view complete online portfolios of my work by visiting that site at: http://imageevent.com/mona2
